Recruitment applications were due on the 27th of August 2022. The admit card for the prelim exam was released on the official website in the second week of September 2022, two weeks before the test date. The test will take place in the last week of September 2022, however there has been no official confirmation regarding this. Candidates should understand the cut-off marks criteria before taking the exam.
Cut-off for Assistant Teachers in the DSSSB for 2022
The candidates who will appear in the DSSSB assistant teacher exam 2022 first reviewed the eligibility criteria set by the DSSSB authorities, which stated that the candidate had to be between the ages of 20-30.
Candidates from the reserved category have an age relaxation. A candidate must possess a valid marksheet from a regular diploma in primary education, along with the percentage of marks obtained in that course, when registering on the DSSSB’s online portal. Additionally, the candidate must have completed his 10+2 from a recognised board with at least 50% marks.
As per the official notice of DSSSB, 778 eligible and qualified candidates will be recruited as assistant teachers for primary and nursery classes. As a result, 637 seats will be allotted to assistant teachers in primary classes, while 141 seats will be allotted to assistant teachers in nursery classes. As stated below, the category seat allocations for DSSSB assistant teachers are as follows:
- Seats for General category candidates: 409
- Seats for OBC candidates: 145
- Seats for SC candidates: 136
- Seats for ST candidates: 44
- Seats for EWS candidates: 44
- Seats for physically challenged candidates: 40
