Users will find it easier to switch between two devices at once while on the phone, thanks to a new feature that Google Meet will shortly release. The process will be smoother because of the new function, Switch Here, which eliminates the need to end a call on one device and pick it up on another. The tech company claims that the feature is now available to everyone with both personal and Workspace accounts. Notably, early this year, Google enhanced its videoconferencing program to allow hosts and co-hosts to pin up to three people on the screen.
Seamless Device Switching in Google Meet”
Google announced the news in its Workspace blog post, saying, “As of right now, switching between devices during a Google Meet conversation is seamless and doesn’t require you to end the conference and start over. When you join a meeting on your laptop, you’ll see the new “Switch here” option. This lets you change the caller on your mobile device without ending the discussion or worrying about missing any important information.

The “Switch Here” feature
To improve the usability of its videoconferencing software, Google has started introducing additional features. In February, the site added a new tool that allows the host or co-host to pin up to three participants. The purpose of this application is to make it easier for attendees to find the presenters during lengthy sessions.
